my mom and i happened upon a korean drama series called "goong" as we were flipping channels one night. it's about a modern day monarchy in korea. so we've been watching it here and there for the past month or so.
inevitably, we became addicted, and one night i missed an episode so i youtubed it. this past weekend i told her i caught up online. we started watching episodes on youtube this weekend.
on monday night, my mom wanted to youtube it again, and we decided a set time in advance so we wouldn't binge on youtube: 30 minutes. after that allotted time, i talked to will and went to bed. that was around 10pm. my mom said she wanted to watch a bit more on her own. so i taught her how to find youtube on her computer and find the video.
i found out the next day that she slept at 2am that night! she finished the whole thing.
then yesterday, i hear sounds coming out of the room. i go in there to find she's now progressed to watching bloopers and edits of the drama!
haha. i think i've created a monster.
